Party Makeup

I went to The Big Event here in AZ the other night and absolutely loved how I did my makeup.  Here’s a quick how-to to get the look:

Products Used:

Foundation: Make Up For Ever Face and Body/Make Up For Ever HD Powder

Cheeks: Highlight- Too Faced Candlelight/Contour-Make Up For Ever Eyeshadow/Blush- Make Up For Ever Eyeshadow in a Hot Pink (the great thing about Make Up For Ever shadows is that they can be used as anything; blush, eye shadow, liner…you name it)

Eyes: Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer/ Make Up For Ever Flash Color in White/ Make Up For Ever eyeshadow in white/ LORAC liquid liner pen in black/Make Up For Ever Aqua Liner in Black/Urban Decay eye liner pencil in Neyo/False Lashes

Brows: Rimmel Eye Shadow in Black (be very careful with eyeshadows when filling in brows.  They pick up color quickly, so use a light hand and sparingly use color)

1. After doing your foundation, prime your eyelid.

2.  Paint on the flash color over the entire eyelid, not extending past the crease.  Paint a thin line beneath your eye too.

3.  Very important!  Set the flash color with a white eyeshadow or else it will crease.  Pat the color into the paint above and beneath your eye.

4.  Using a liquid liner pen (you get the best wings), apply eyeliner above the lid starting thin and getting thicker towards the outer socket.  Extend the liner past edge of the lid in a small wing. Draw a thin line underneath the eye, making sure to look straight ahead as you do so to get a straight line.  Extend the line past the edge of the eye in a thin line as well.

5. Using the Aqua Liner pencil, draw a thin line in the crease of your eye, extend the line to connect the line above your lid in a v shape.  Blend the line into your crease.

6.  Apply false lashes and brow powder.

You’re set!  Not as hard as it looks!  Get ready to turn some heads!
