Holiday Party Look 1
Metallic shades are hot this holiday season!! For my first look, I did a gold eye that would be cute on any color skin, just make sure you find a gold shade that compliments your skin tone.
I started with Urban Decay’s eye shadow primer all over my lid, then used Buxom’s Stay There Eye Shadow in Poodle (it’s a pale yellow gold) all over my lid up to my brow. In the inner corner of my eye, I used a bright gold color from my Physicians Formula Shimmer Strips Bronzer palette. Then I used MAC’s Pigment in Gold Lemon blending it with the shadow in my inner corner to the outer corner of my eye, up to the crease. On the outer corner of my eye, I very lightly blended a matte black shadow into the pigment to give some depth in a small triangular shape. Then I lined my eyes with Lorac’s Eyeliner Pen in black, extending out to a small wing. I followed that line with Hard Candy’s Walk the Line liquid eyeliner in Licorice (multi color sparkly black).
On my waterline, I used the bright gold shadow and then smudged a thin line of black shadow underneath it. Then I follow with a black mascara, let it dry, and then coated the mascara with Hard Candy’s Lash Tinsel glitter mascara in Gold Digger.
For my lips I used MUFE’s Aqua Lip pencil in 8C and MUFE’s lip color in 204, mixed with Julie Hewitt’s Rouge Noir and a clear gloss.
