Mermaid Makeup

I should be packing for my vacay to Disneyland this weekend (YAY!), but I had so much fun doing the Halloween post from last night, I decided to do another!  This one is a mermaid inspired look.  For it I used all my shadows wet to get the bright color.  I started with MUFE’s star powder in 956 (teal) in the inner corner of my eye, and blended it into Lime Crime’s Mermaid (fitting) in the center.  I blended the Mermaid into Lime Crime’s Duchess in the outer corner and swooped it up into a wing.  I lightly blended all the colors together under the brow with MUFE’s 944 star powder (blue iridescent).  Under my eye I used Mermaid and Duchess.  Then, using eyelash adhesive, I glued different colors jewels to my forehead following the brow bone and then just filling in the gaps.  I glued a few jewels around my eyes as well.  Then I glued on false lashes with glitter at the ends and lined over that with my eyeliner pen.  I used a shimmery white highlight on my cheeks and blended MUFE’s 944 with a clear lip gloss for my lips.  Super easy, the whole look took me about 45 mins and that was because gluing on the jewels takes forever.  If you can find pretty color jewels that have adhesive on the back already, it’ll be much quicker.  Happy Haunting!
